What We’re Looking For

We have spent the last few years honing our product market fit and creating a repeatable revenue retention and expansion model. It will be your job to help us improve the retention and expansion of our school customers and deepen the impact of Listenwise at schools. You will need to embody all of the characteristics of a strong account manager- relationship building, empathy, and grit. Equally important is the way you work with others---collaboration with colleagues and a desire to serve customers is critical.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be a critical member of our Customer Success Team, overseeing the implementation of Listenwise in schools, and ensuring their continued renewal and expansion. You will work directly with teachers and school leaders over the lifecycle of the subscription to train teachers and provide superior service and consultation. You will also support our new customer acquisition as the first point of contact for prospective customers.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Renew school customers
  • Deliver online teacher training sessions and promote regular use of Listenwise
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders for successful implementation of Listenwise
  • Proactive outreach to school leaders and teachers throughout renewal lifecycle - from onboarding through collection of purchase orders
  • Identify expansion opportunities within a school account or in other schools in a district
  • Deliver accurate revenue forecasts and account notes
  • Respond to initial inquiries from new prospective customers
  • Become knowledgeable in school priorities affecting Listenwise
  • Collaborate with all members of the Listenwise team to deliver superior business outcomes, especially sales and customer success.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Looking for highly motivated, passionate, empathetic, and intellectually curious people
  • Strong academic record
  • 1-2 years of sales, account management, or customer success experience
  • Experience working with educators on use of technology or curriculum
  • Experience working with diverse organizations and those that support them
  • Detail oriented with an ability to step back and strategize
  • Superior listening skills, able to identify customers unique objectives
  • Ability to influence education decision makers, and navigate objections
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Passion for education and public radio, and desire to expand opportunity for marginalized communities through education
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment within a unique industry
  • College Degree Required
  • Must be able to work remotely

Some Plusses
  • Classroom teaching experience
  • Experience in SaaS sales or account management in the Education Technology industry
  • Bilingual, especially English/Spanish

Email & Marketing Automation Specialist
Part Time Contract - Remote
What We’re Looking For

Listenwise is looking for a passionate, results-driven, and collaborative individual to manage our marketing automation software system, Sharpspring. You will be an expert on our marketing automation processes and systems and will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams across Listenwise to ensure marketing operations maintain efficiency and improve over time by providing consultative, problem-solving, and educational expertise. Must have an appetite to experiment, measure and iterate to continuously improve campaigns and drive better results.

The Role - Part Time- Remote

As Marketing Automation Specialist you will design email campaigns, analyze user behavior and campaign data, maintain list health, run regular emails programs and own automation set-up processes. This contract position will be 10-15 hours per/week for 3 months duration with a possibility for extension.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with key internal marketing and sales stakeholders to shape and define how the CRM system can enable business objectives and priorities
  • Optimize marketing automation tools and support the ‘user journey to marketing qualified leads’ - the set of actions and workflows which define what email campaigns are sent to which users (and when)
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to implement new, personalized campaigns
  • Manage ongoing analyses for campaign performance, key insights, and strategic learnings
  • Maintain the quality of our subscriber lists, by following list health and deliverability best practices
  • Consult and support the creation and curation of deep user/customer segmentation strategy in order to build relationships and drive growth goals
  • Educate and train on new automation capabilities within the marketing automation platform

The Ideal Candidate

  • Expert knowledge of utilizing marketing automation platforms (ie: Hubspot, Marketo, Sharpspring), either stand-alone or integrated with customer relationship management (CRM) system for advanced marketing campaigns.
  • Prior experience working with Sharpspring is a plus
  • Solid understanding of data management and database concepts with proven ability to collect and analyze data
  • Experience creating and managing email campaigns that utilize customer data to create personalized customer journeys
  • Strong ownership, execution, and follow up skills, with a bias to action
  • Systematic approach to problem solving
  • Excellent listener & communicator
  • Must be able to work remotely
